We are partnering with a well-known business based near Tadcaster, currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their core accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to play a pivotal role in a successful and supportive finance function.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality statutory and management reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, supporting cash flow forecasting, and assisting with tax and audit matters. This hands-on role is ideal for a second-time mover, perhaps newly qualified from a small to mid-tier practice, looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation of statutory and management accounts. Maintain and enhance financial reporting controls and compliance. Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist in liquidity management. Support the audit process, working closely with external auditors. Provide support on group taxation, VAT, and related queries. Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.

About You:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified. Strong technical accounting skills with up-to-date knowledge of reporting standards.

Experience with statutory reporting, audit, and some tax work. Proactive, detail-oriented, and excellent communicator. Ideally a second-time mover from a small or mid-tier practice background. What's on
