At Rawlence & Browne , we're looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our growing practice. What you'll be doing Your work will include a mixture of bookkeeping and accounts support for a wide range of small businesses, including:
Bookkeeping using cloud accounting software (primarily Xero) Preparing and submitting VAT Returns Bank reconciliations Purchase and sales ledger processing Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and tax returns Liaising directly with clients by telephone and email Helping clients with bookkeeping queries General practice administration as required No two days are the same, so you'll enjoy a varied workload and the opportunity to develop your skills.

What we're looking for We're looking for someone who:
Has at least 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice Is confident preparing bookkeeping records and VAT Returns Can prepare accounts and tax returns for limited company's Has experience using cloud accounting software (Xero experience would be an advantage) Has excellent attention to detail Is reliable, organised and able to manage their own workload Enjoys speaking with clients and providing excellent customer service Works well as part of a friendly team Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn Benefits What you'll get Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week) Office-based role in our Salisbury office Competitive salary based on experience Supportive and approachable colleagues Varied work with a broad range of clients Ongoing training and development A friendly, relaxed working environment Why Rawlence & Browne?
