The Energy unit delivers services to clients globally across several sectors including hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation and transmission & distribution networks. Together we provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. Together with our clients, we're helping to deliver the energy transition globally.

Our Nuclear;
Defence and Civil division is looking for a Systems Engineer. This role involves working closely with designers, other systems engineers. You will support stakeholder workshops, develop system architectures, and will be expected to meet deadlines set for key systems engineering deliverables, including:

• System Requirements Specification
• System Architecture Description
• System/ Subsystem Design Descriptions
• Interface Control Documents

Our team provides a range of key services, including:

• Requirements Management
• System Architecture Development and Modelling
• Technical Interface Management and System Integration
• Design Assurance, Verification, and Validation Management
• Configuration Management

• Support capture and translation of stakeholder vision and definition of the scope and boundary of the system, along with its Concept of Operations
• Develop system requirements throughout the system lifecycle, using an appropriate requirements management tool
• Support development of required system architectural views (functional and physical), including, but not limited to Functional, System and Spatial Breakdown Structures
• As directed, apply appropriate scenario modelling and role modelling techniques to contribute to capability assurance evidence
• Work with designers to capture and mature internal and external system technical interfaces
• Support identification and management of technical assumptions, dependencies and constraints
• Develop systems engineering artefacts, as necessary, to support technical reviews and client deliverables
• Generate objective Verification & Validation evidence
• Support configuration management of the system design baseline and contribute to impact assessments of technical change
• Contribute to stakeholder workshops and provide data to inform reporting metrics
• Communicate complex technical content clearly to peers and collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Contribute to generation of high quality technical reports, presentations and project artefacts as required by company processes and project delivery

Essential:

• Understanding of systems engineering techniques applied across the entire engineering lifecycle, with demonstrable experience in a portion of the lifecycle
• Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
• Knowledge of requirements development, preferably for infrastructure projects
