Role Description

Join Our Team as a Senior Support Worker - Waking Night

Location:

Tadley, Hampshire

Salary:£14.10 per hour (£29,328 pro rata) plus benefits.

Hours:Up to 40 hours per week, shifts 9:00 pm to 7:00 am, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).

Contract:Full-time, Permanent.

Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.

Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

Heather House is a specialist nursing home for sixteen young adults living with severe complex neurological, learning, and physical disabilities and life limiting conditions. This includes Juvenile Batten disease (CLN3), and Rett syndrome.

Our residents love taking part in activities in the home, like music, singing and accessing their own hydrotherapy pool. They love taking part in events celebrating Valentines, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. At Christmas time we have our very own wonderland in the garden which is truly magical.

We are expanding our home in Tadley and are on the lookout for exceptional Support Workers to join our passionate and dedicated team. If you are someone whos enthusiastic, compassionate, and have strong emotional resilience, we want to hear from you!

Your efforts will help them engage in everyday activities, creating smiles and memories. To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate exposure to two of the following areas of expertise:

  • Mental Health
  • Complex Health Needs
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Life-limiting Conditions
  • End of Life Care
  • You will have a QCF in Health & Social Care Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living.
Due to the requirements of the home, we are only able to accept applications from female applicants at this time.
