SEN Head Teacher

We are seeking an exceptional Head Teacher to lead a specialist SEN school in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educational leader with a proven track record of improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role

As Head Teacher, you will provide strategic leadership and vision, ensuring the highest standards of education, care, and support for pupils with a range of complex needs. You will lead a dedicated team, foster a positive school culture, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the school.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide strong and effective leadership to staff, pupils, and the wider school community.

* Promote excellence in teaching, learning, and pupil achievement.

* Ensure the school meets all statutory, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.

* Develop and implement the school's strategic vision and improvement plans.

* Manage budgets and resources effectively.

* Build strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities, and external partners.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Significant leadership experience within a SEN or specialist education setting.

* A strong understanding of SEND legislation, safeguarding, and educational best practice.

* Proven experience of leading school improvement and achieving positive outcomes for pupils.

* Outstanding communication, organisational, and people-management skills.

* A passion for creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
