Role Overview

Salary: £15.30 per hour.

Hours:

Guaranteed 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:45am start. Finish times vary.

• Collect recycling, refuse and green waste from domestic properties in Shrewsbury and surrounding areas.
• Drive and undertake loading duties.
• Perform vehicle defect checks.
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation, including security and weight limits for loads.
• Accurately record work completed using an onboard tablet and report any collection issues.
• Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and clean up any spillages before leaving the area.
• Assist other collection crews as required.

• CatC (Class2) Licence.
• Driver CPC & Digi/Tachograph Card.
• Willingness and capability to perform a mixed loading/driving role.
