Position: Pediatric Dentist for Cherokee Nation

Cherokee Nation Health Services (CNHS) is the largest tribally-operated healthcare system in the United States. Join our team at CNHS where you'll provide essential dental care to children and families, helping to improve oral health and overall well-being.

At CNHS, we are committed to providing high-quality care to our tribal community and are currently seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team! Our dental team plays a critical role in ensuring children receive the preventive and restorative care they need for lifelong oral health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination and comprehensive dental care of infants and children
  • Direct and indirect restorations of primary and permanent dentition
  • Extractions of primary and permanent teeth
  • Pulpal treatment of primary teeth
  • Consultations regarding complex treatment of pediatric patients referred by general dentists and pediatricians
  • Surgery cases in our outpatient surgery center as well as privileges at our hospital for medically complex patients with skilled anesthesia providers weekly
Qualifications
  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Completed a pediatric dentist program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accredit ion (CODA)
  • Licensed to practice dentistry in Oklahoma.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in a rural health setting.
  • Strong communication skills and cultural competency in working with tribal communities
