Ultrasonographer Tech - Tahlequah, Oklahoma

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Ultrasound Technology and General Imaging
• Current licensure or certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer as required by state regulations
• Thorough knowledge of sonographic principles and procedures
• Competency operating ultrasound equipment and related technology
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly to physicians and patients
• Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational, analytical, and documentation abilities
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and quality standards at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate interpretations
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
• Review and evaluate images for technical quality, following established protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to discuss results and coordinate patient care
• Keep equipment and exam rooms clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient histories, and test results within internal systems
• Contribute to a safe and positive outpatient environment by adhering to infection control and safety practices

$2,193 - $2,312/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
