As a Security Officer – Government Patrol Unit in Talladega, AL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a secure environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service while responding to various situations.

Mon 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

Tue 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Document observations and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to established protocols.
• Assist visitors and staff by providing information and support as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
