Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced External Audit professionals to join a growing Audit & Assurance team supporting clients within the Asset & Wealth Management sector. This role offers the opportunity to work with private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds, and other investment management clients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform external audit and assurance engagements for Asset & Wealth Management clients.
- Review and analyze financial statements and supporting documentation.
- Apply knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
- Work closely with engagement teams to execute audit procedures and complete audit deliverables.
- Identify accounting and financial reporting issues and recommend solutions.
- Support planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.
- Mentor junior team members and assist with engagement management activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of external audit experience.
- Strong experience auditing one or more of the following:
- Private Equity Funds
- Hedge Funds
- Asset Management / Wealth Management organizations
- Experience with U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- CPA Certification or active CPA candidate.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 or large public accounting firm.
- Experience leading audit engagements and mentoring staff.
- Exposure to automation, analytics, and audit technology tools.
