Financial Controller, Cost Accountant
Johnson-Davis Inc. is seeking a Junior Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations for our underground utilities construction business.
Responsibilities:- Manage all accounting functions: GL, AP/AR, payroll, and job costing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and oversee close process
- Monitor job costs, budgets, and project profitability
- Work closely with Project Managers, General Superintendent, Superintendents and leadership on forecasts and cost control
- 3 years of Controller or accounting experience
- Strong background in construction accounting (underground utilities preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
- Experience with Heavy Job
- Experience with Viewpoint Vista
- CPA
