ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Statistics at Florida State University invites applications for a Teaching Faculty I position. This is a 12-month, non-tenure, entry-level position starting in August 2026. This position provides opportunities for engagement with a large undergraduate program and vibrant M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Biostatistics, Data Science, and Statistics in a collaborative environment at a comprehensive University.
The successful candidate will teach in-person and online undergraduate and graduate courses, develop new courses to meet the changing needs of the discipline, and provide support to department academic programs and the Statistical Consulting Center. Candidates with research areas in Biostatistics, Data Science, Statistics or related fields are encouraged to apply.
QualificationsA doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Biostatistics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching is required.
