ResponsibilitiesThe FSU College of Business is seeking to fill one specialized faculty position in Risk Management/Insurance beginning in Fall 2026. The faculty member will teach four courses per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Teaching responsibilities can include classes in risk management and insurance, healthcare, and/or business law. The topics and courses taught (upper division course(s), graduate course(s)) will be based on work and teaching experience.
Some service to the department, college, university, and profession is expected, including faculty advising of student groups and travel with students. This is a non-tenured and non-tenure earning position.
- Candidates must possess a terminal degree (PhD or a Juris Doctor).
- Risk management, insurance experience, governmental affairs, and/or healthcare experience.
