As a key member of our transportation team, you'll play a vital role in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects that serve communities across the state. You’ll leverage your roadway and highway design expertise—particularly in FDOT District 3 and across a range of state and local transportation initiatives throughout Florida—to tackle complex engineering challenges and deliver innovative, future-focused solutions.

- Highway interchange and expansion projects
- Transit-related infrastructure
- Federal lands and corridor improvements
- Local roadway upgrades and enhancements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage roadway design efforts for FDOT District 3, as well as state, local, and municipal transportation projects across Florida.
- Develop and review plans, specifications, and cost estimates for highway improvements
- Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants
- Manage QA/QC processes to ensure top-tier deliverables
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff
- Ensure all work complies with policies, standards, and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in roadway design and geometrics
- Previous experience working on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), County, or Municipal projects
- Strong proficiency in Civil 3D or Micro Station/Open Roads
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- FDOT (Districts
3) experience - Prior experience on local, state, and/or federal transportation projects
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and time management skills
- Experience in roadway design, including horizontal and vertical alignments, and development of roadway components for construction plans
