Base Salary Range$/yr – $/yr
Responsibilities- Work on structural engineering assignments for data center projects, including new builds, retrofits, colocation, and related tasks.
- Perform analysis, create computer models, calculate member and foundation designs, and prepare material take‑offs.
- Coordinate designs with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with code and client requirements.
- Lead technical tasks and collaborate with other Jacobs offices both domestically and internationally.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to become registered in additional states.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station, S3D, and structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
- Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and building codes.
- Experience with MS Office, Teams, and remote coordination.
- Travel to client sites ~10–20% required.
- Master of Science in Engineering.
- Experience with industrial metals projects, casting, rolling operations, or similar heavy industrial projects.
- Leadership experience delivering on schedule and budget while meeting quality and client expectations.
