As a Roadway Engineer in the DRMP Roadway Group
, you will provide design and production support in the development of construction plans for roadway projects throughout Florida for clients such as FDOT and local municipalities and counties. • Perform engineering design including horizontal alignments, vertical alignments, 3D modeling and cross‑sections, pavement design, and temporary traffic control plans, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Preparing of project documentation including Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Package, Design Variations and Exceptions, Estimated Quantity Reports, and Project Meeting minutes.
• Collaborating with clients, sub‑consultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements.
• Directing and mentoring less‑experienced support staff.
• Supporting business development efforts including proposal pursuit efforts.

• Bachelor of Science from an ABET‑accredited university in Civil Engineering.
• Florida Engineer Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months.
• Minimum of 6-10 years of transportation roadway design experience.
• FDOT and/or Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise Experience (desired).
• Proficiency in Bentley’s Micro Station and Open Roads Designer.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and self‑initiative to meet client deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
