The TARAS practice assists companies with all aspects of their financial reporting for income taxes including tax accounting, tax provision procedures, and controls design and testing.

• As a Seasonal Manager, provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP, share-based compensation, financial statement restatements and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts).
• Assist companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision.
• Review the tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy and enhance the control environment; assess tax risk and control environments inclusive of and beyond Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.

• A bachelor's degree in a related field, supported by significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred
• Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS
• Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation
• Strong analytical, written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal abilities, problem-solving capability, and attention to detail

• ASC 740, Real Estate, and/or IAS 12 experience; experience in corporate tax planning and compliance; broad exposure to federal income taxation

The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $90/hr to $120/hr individual salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
