QualificationsRequired
Education:
Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology approved program in radiation therapy.
Required Experience: None
Required Certification/License/Registry: State of Florida Department of Health certification as a Radiation Therapy Technologist. Must possess and maintain active certification as a Radiation Therapist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Chief Therapist/Rad Oncology simulate and deliver daily radiation treatments to oncology patients as directed by the Radiation Oncologist; act as liaison between patients and their families and the Radiation Oncologist when adverse reactions or disease progression occurs.

Supervises: Student Radiographers
