Data Warehouse Analyst

Responsible for gathering and assessing business information needs and preparing system requirements. Performs analyses, development, and evaluation of data mining in the Snowflake cloud data warehouse environment which includes data design, database architecture, and data management utilizing Informatica Power Center, Intelligent Data Quality, and Enterprise Data Catalog. Uses data mining and data analysis tools including Power BI and Tableau. Reviews and validates data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy.

Interacts with user community to produce reporting requirements. Provides technical consulting to users of the various data stores and advises users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Responsible for prototyping solutions, building solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests for Snowflake data population including data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and transforming the data. Responsible for enterprise data modeling. Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the Snowflake cloud data warehouse environment.

• Strong data integration and data warehousing experience with Informatica IDMC tools (CDI, MI, CAI, etc.).
• Perform c/ELT tasks including extraction, transformation, and load operations.
• Administer IDMC platform, Secure Agent Infrastructure, and Snowflake Data Cloud platform.
• Analyze transactional data stores and develop data warehouse models for reporting and analytics.
• Administer Redhat Linux applications including patching, disk management, and script automation.
• Maintain documentation for methods and practices.
• Analyze IBM Mainframes COBOL, JCL, and DB2 systems.

• Knowledge of relational database platforms including DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake, and Oracle.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience with Informatica Power Center, Intelligent Data Quality, and Enterprise Data Catalog.
• Experience with Redhat Linux administration.
• Experience with IBM Mainframes COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

• Experience designing data models for BI tools like Power BI and Cognos.oracle
• Experience with Informatica on-premises products like Power Center and Data Quality.
• Strong development experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Experience building and testing Power BI and Cognos reports/dashboards.
• Experience with IDMC Cloud and Snowflake Data Cloud administration.
• Experience with performance tuning in Informatica IDMC and Snowflake.
