We’re looking for a system administrator who specializes in Service Now platform administration to help us operate and maintain our client's Service Now platform. What You'll Work On:

Perform configuration, customization, and routine maintenance of the Service Now platform to ensure reliable performance and stability.

Support the implementation and testing of new modules, applications, and enhancements based on business requirements.

Assist in gathering, documenting, and refining technical specifications and workflows in coordination with IT and business stakeholders.

Apply established best practices for Service Now administration, including system security, user access, and data integrity.

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests related to the Service Now platform, escalating complex issues to senior administrators as needed.

Configure and maintain core ITSM processes and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), supporting data accuracy and integrity.

Support system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance activities to keep the platform current and secure.

Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Monitor system performance metrics and report issues and recommendations for improvement to senior administrators.

Stay current with Service Now features and updates relevant to assigned duties.

Support Service Now license management and governance activities such as user, app, API usage, and custom tables.

Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have: 6+ years of experience in an IT field3+ years of experience as a Service Now Administrator including supporting platform configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution

Knowledge of ITSM processes and CMDB administration

Ability to implement, test, troubleshoot, and support Service Now modules and enhancementsTS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GEDDoD 8570 IAT II Compliant Certification DoW 8140 compliant Certification under the Work Role Code 451-Systems Administrator-Intermediate level or higher such as COMPTIA Security+, Cloud+, GIAC GICSP, GSEC, or ISC 2 SSCP Certification Nice If You Have: 2+ years of experience in an IT field

Experience with Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HAM, or SAM and Service Now integration tools and APIsExperience with Service Now On-Prem instance implementation, management, and troubleshooting

Experience with Service Now scripting languages such as JavaScript, Glide, or Glide Script and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, or AJAXKnowledge of database management and SQL including MariaDBKnowledge of ITIL processes and Service Now best practices

Possession of strong technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
