Position: Sustainability Specialist | Environmental Consulting and Management Services [TLH048053]

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Environmental Continuing Services (Sustainability Specialist) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as City of Tallahassee (TLH) | Department of Environmental Services & Facilities Management Generally Located In Tallahassee - Florida 32306 and across the Southeastern Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Develop and implement sustainability policies for municipal operations.
• Support ISO 14001 certification processes.
• Create metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of climate change mitigation strategies.
• Lead sustainability workshops

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• In-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001).

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy, Sustainability, or related field; 3–7 years of sustainability experience.
• LEED or equivalent certification preferred; grant writing and community engagement experience desirable.
