We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida (US-FL), United States (US).
OverviewThe Project Manager will oversee and ensure the success of all project phases, including Contract Implementation and Migration, agency-specific Implementation and Migration, and Post-Migration Steady State. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and delivering results within defined constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct project teams to deliver outcomes on time, within budget, and aligned with resource availability.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and client expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using Microsoft Project, tracking milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with agency stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and migration activities.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to the Program Manager and client leadership.
- Ensure compliance with customer-approved methodologies and standards.
- Support post-migration steady-state operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Apply change, risk, and resource management strategies across all phases of the project.
- Prepare and present reports for program leadership and client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure service continuity.
- Assist in onboarding and training project team members to align with program goals and delivery standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years supporting telecommunications or networking contracts
- Proven ability to lead and direct teams in complex project environments.
- Demonstrated experience applying project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Lean).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project for scheduling and resource management.
- Relevant project management certification such as PMP, CSM, CompTIA Project+, Lean Six Sigma, or an equivalent approved by DMS.
- Experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Advanced degree in project management or a related field.
- Additional certifications in project management methodologies.
- Experience managing public sector or government contracts.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, cloud migration, or ERP implementations.
- Ability to manage multiple agency-specific projects concurrently.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving quality assurance goals and managing client relationships at the executive level.
- Experience managing IT contract personnel across multiple technical domains and locations.
- Expertise in scheduling resources against contract and government-directed priorities.
- Strong presentation skills for communicating with senior government officials.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $79,684- $184,454. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
