Overview The First Commerce Credit Union Foundation Community Ambassador Program offers a meaningful opportunity to serve your community alongside a trusted local organization while helping individuals build lifelong financial skills. Community Ambassadors work alongside First Commerce team members to deliver engaging financial education programs in primary and secondary schools, colleges, and with community groups and nonprofit organizations throughout North Florida and South Georgia.

This volunteer opportunity is especially well-suited for individuals who enjoy teaching and mentoring others, former or current educators, professionals with experience in finance, banking, business, or nonprofit leadership, and anyone who is passionate about giving back to their community. Whether you're looking to share your expertise, stay connected to the classroom, develop new skills, or make a lasting impact through volunteer service, the Community Ambassador Program provides a rewarding way to help others gain confidence in their financial futures.

Position Type Volunteer, Unpaid Seasonal opportunity (Fall, Spring, or Summer) with option to reapply

What You'll Do Community Ambassadors support financial education programming and outreach efforts alongside FCCU team members and Foundation staff.

Assisting with youth and classroom financial education lessons Supporting Financial Fitness Fairs and budgeting simulations Participating in community outreach and representing the FCCU Foundation Commitment & Expectations Commit to a minimum of three (3) financial education or outreach visits

Attend a required in-person onboarding session prior to participating Participate in a screening interview and background check before selection
