• Unit: Labor & Delivery / Antenatal (High Risk Unit)
• Facility Size: 772 beds
• Unit Features: 19 labor rooms, 12 antepartum rooms, 4 recovery rooms, 8 triage rooms, 3 OR suites, ~4000 deliveries annually
• Trauma Level: Level 2
• Shifts: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025, End: 2/28/2026)
• Extra Shift Requirement: Must pick up one extra shift per 4-week schedule cycle
• On Call: Not required
• Float: Not required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250

• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• At least 2 years in Labor & Delivery, LDRP, or Mother Baby nursing roles
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or compact state)
• Certifications:
  
  AHA-BLS, AHA-ACLS, NRP, AWHONN-Advanced Fetal Monitoring (or equivalent)
• Strong ECG interpretation skills
• Immediate newborn care experience
• Ability to circulate and recover C-sections

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor fetal and maternal status, interpret ECGs, and respond to obstetric emergencies
• Provide immediate newborn care and support mothers throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Circulate and recover C-sections as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Pick up one extra shift per 4-week schedule cycle
