DateLocationFlorida International University
DescriptionTwo postdoctoral associate positions are available in Department of Physics, and Biomolecular Science Institute, at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami. FIU is a fast-growing R1 public research university, with a research expenditure over $300 M for 2024. We are seeking motivated and creative applicants to join a new 5-year NIH multi-PI project focusing on the development of single-cell analysis methods in IPSC derived neural and cardiac cells and engineered tissues.
A PhD in (bio) physics, bioengineering, (bio) chemistry, cell/Microbiology or other related disciplines is required. One candidate will conduct experimental work, and the other candidate will focus on AI-assisted molecular modeling and Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations.
To apply , applicants should email a cover letter explaining relevant work experience and interests, a CV, and the contact information of 2-3 references to Prof. Jin He for tissue engineering and single-cell analysis and to Prof. Prem Chapagain for AI-driven Molecular modeling and MD simulations.
