As a Refractive Surgical Consultant, you will work with the Wave Light suite, and any other Wave Light consumables or disposables.  Work with the Account Managers and the Refractive team to ensure a smooth sales process, and product knowledge post sale covering the East  this role, a typical day will include:

Regional on-label post-install sales support, and technical selling for Wave Light products, with an emphasis on premium procedural selling

Branded products include:
Wave Light Excimer, Wave Light Femto, Contoura, Wavelight Plus, and all related Wavelight consumables/disposables

Work closely with Wavelight Managers (WM), and Division Manager (DM), and Refractive team to optimize sales initiatives, product adoption, and goals

Ability to consult with physician/surgeon, key opinion leaders (KOLs), key customer decision makers, and internal stakeholders

Maintain high level of technical knowledge on key existing and new surgical products

Accountable for assigned sales objectives for region

Responsible for Management Business Objectives (MBOs) assigned by management WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English5 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Ophthalmic surgical/technical skills and knowledge. A demonstrated track record of proven sales achievements is highly preferred.

Experience consulting in an Operating Room (OR) setting.

Experience consulting with Refractive technologies.

Strong working knowledge of Refractive diagnostics.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
