Tallmadge, Ohio (Northeast Ohio). Akron Children's is dedicated to building a workforce that reflects our patient population and the communities we serve. We are seeking a part-time physician to join our established Tallmadge practice as it continues to expand. The Tallmadge office has 3 experienced pediatricians. This is an outpatient opportunity with shared after-hours call. Calls reach the physician after being screened by our after-hours nurse triage line, which handles more than 90% of calls.
Saturday morning office hours are shared between the providers. This is a busy existing practice, so we welcome new graduates or established providers to step into a practice they can continue to develop and grow.
This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
Practice DetailsOur offices follow standard hospital-based policies while retaining the local culture of each practice. Our physicians use EPIC as a system-wide integrated electronic health record. Our primary care offices are PCMH certified. The Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that prioritizes patients and supports strong relationships with the care team.
