We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Administration service to provide relief cover throughout Tameside and Glossop. This post will work across all localities providing full clerical support to Health Care Professional teams based within the community clinics.
ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of a team, the post holder will act as the first point of contact for all community service users. The holder must have the ability to deal with the general public and have a positive approach to customer care. Administration experience is essential, and the holder will undertake a full range of clerical tasks.
Community clinics currently operate between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. As a Rotational Clerical Officer, the holder will cover all clinic sites depending on service requirements, ranging from Glossop to Hyde to Ashton to Denton & Droylsden; therefore driving a car is essential.
The post holder will provide a welcoming and professional first impression for patients and Healthcare Professionals at community clinic reception desks, whether front‑facing or via telephone, to ensure an excellent customer service experience.
The holder will handle enquiries in person, by phone or email politely and courteously, and will provide full clerical support to the Health Care Professional teams based in community settings.
Working within localities, the holder will work as part of a team but also independently to ensure the smooth running of the clinics and provide administrative cover across all locality sites.
Qualifications & Experience• Band 2 level experience in a clerical or administrative role.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with a range of enquiries.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driving licence and reliable transport (must be able to cover all 14 sites).
