Health and Safety Site Manager - 9-Month FTC
Salary: £50,000 (pro-rated for 9 months)

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a passion for delivering large-scale construction projects safely and efficiently?
Would you thrive in a role where you can lead complex site activities, ensure strict health and safety compliance, and manage multiple contractors seamlessly?

Join a leading manufacturer in the construction sector as a Site Manager on a fixed-term 9-month contract. You will oversee the safe delivery of a factory upgrade, including a green hydrogen fuel switch project, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing site activities in line with CDM 2015 regulations
Implementing and monitoring construction phase plans and safe systems of work to ensure health and safety standards are upheld
Leading site meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings to promote a strong safety culture
Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and progress reports to keep projects on track
Maintaining accurate site documentation, including permits, inspections, and safety records

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience managing construction sites within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, health and safety legislation, and risk management
SMSTS certification, CSCS manager card, and demonstrable leadership skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and lead safety initiatives professionally
