Customer Service - Personal Banker (6 months)

The Customer Service Personal Banker role is a 6‑month contract operating in the Nat West branch network. You will be the first point of contact for customers and will be committed to providing outstanding service in every interaction.

What you’ll do
  • You’ll guide and support branch customers, helping them to achieve their financial goals.
  • You’ll fully understand the customers’ needs and proactively offer the banking services that meet those needs.
  • You’ll handle general banking requests such as payments, balance enquiries and transfers.
  • You’ll identify opportunities to offer simple financial products and collaborate with other teams to provide a seamless customer experience.

Working pattern

The role is based in the United Kingdom. Working hours will be between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, with rotational Saturdays and some bank holidays. Flexibility in hours is required to cover branch opening hours.

Learning journey

You’ll begin with a comprehensive training programme that will cover banking fundamentals, customer experience and product knowledge. Ongoing coaching and support will be provided, and you will study towards a recognised external qualification that will open doors to further career opportunities.
