Primary Supply Teachers / PPA Cover – Tameside Start:
January 2026

Location:

Tameside, Greater Manchester Pay Rates: £130 to £165+ per day, depending on experience (PAYE)

Axcis is in need of Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Tameside, covering:

• Day-to-day (D2D) supply
• PPA cover
• Short-term bookings
• Sickness and staff absence cover

This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers seeking flexible work, whether you’re looking for regular supply or occasional bookings to fit around other commitments.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Adapt quickly to different school settings
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

• Qualified Teachers (QTS required)
• Experience with in UK primary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
• ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply
