As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the curriculum. You will provide in-class support, work with small groups, and help create an engaging and well-organised learning environment where all children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
- Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom displays.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence.
- Support pupils social, emotional, and academic development.
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil well-being.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
