ECTs, Qualified Teachers & FE Teachers - Tameside

Teaching Personnel are seeking passionate, resilient, and adaptable ECTs, fully qualified teachers, and FE lecturers to work across a variety of secondary schools in Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge, and the wider Tameside area. Our partner schools are looking for educators who can deliver high-quality lessons and demonstrate strong, consistent behaviour management in busy classroom environments. Whether you're newly qualified and seeking experience, an established teacher exploring new roles, or an FE specialist looking to transition into secondary education — we have opportunities to suit you.

We support local secondary schools with a range of teaching requirements, including:

• Day-to-day and short-term supply
• Long-term placements
• Permanent opportunities
• Intervention and small-group teaching
• Subject-specific teaching across KS3 and KS4

• ECTs wanting to build confidence and gain varied classroom experience
• Fully Qualified Teachers with strong behaviour management and subject expertise
• FE Teachers wanting to transition into a secondary school setting
• Confident delivering lessons to KS3 & KS4
• Ability to implement school behaviour policies consistently
• Adaptable, reliable, and calm under pressure
• Passionate about teaching and committed to pupil progress

• Delivering planned lessons or creating engaging schemes of work (long-term roles)
• Taking full responsibility for the class in the absence of the teacher (supply work)
• Demonstrating strong behaviour management, especially in challenging situations
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Monitoring progress and providing feedback where required
• Upholding safeguarding and professional standards

• Weekly pay via PAYE
• CPD training available, including behaviour management and SEN modules
• Opportunity for ECTs to gain experience ahead of or during induction

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
