As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups to cover teachers' Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time.
You will ensure continuity of learning while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and engagement.
Responsibilities- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS.
- Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different classes and abilities.
- Follow school policies and routines consistently.
- Provide feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.
- Uphold safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and flexibility.
- Ability to engage pupils quickly and effectively.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
