Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Year 3 General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the SK16 area. This full‑time position is to begin immediately and will run until July, supporting a lively and enthusiastic Year 3 class.

The school is a well‑established, community‑focused setting with a strong reputation for its inclusive ethos and supportive staff culture. Leadership is committed to staff development and wellbeing, and the Key Stage 2 team works closely together to deliver a rich and engaging curriculum. In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the curriculum. Day‑to‑day responsibilities may include assisting with classroom activities, supporting pupils who need additional encouragement, and helping maintain a positive learning environment. The position would suit someone who is patient, proactive and genuinely passionate about working with children.

While Teaching Assistant qualifications are desired, they are not essential, and the school welcomes applications from individuals with relevant experience or strong transferable skills. A full‑time commitment for the remainder of the academic year is required.
