Full time, temporary ongoing Rate: £200 - £280 per day depending on experience Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chemistry Lecturer to join a dynamic team at a leading Sixth Form College in Greater Manchester on a temporary, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by teaching BTEC Level 3 Chemistry to bright and motivated students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons in Chemistry (BTEC Level
3) to a diverse group of students. Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans, tailored to the BTEC curriculum. Assess and monitor students progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and inspired. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A relevant degree in Chemistry or a related field.

A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential. Previous experience teaching BTEC Level 3 Chemistry or similar qualifications in a further education setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students. A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. A current DBS is also needed for this role.
