Primary Teacher / SEN Teaching Assistant / Support Staff
Supply & Long-Term Roles Available

a supportive and inclusive primary school based in Gee Cross, Hyde. The school is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive both academically and personally.

The school supports children with a variety of additional learning and emotional needs, including SEN and SEMH, and places a strong focus on tailored support, positive behaviour strategies, and pupil wellbeing.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and classroom activities in line with the curriculum

• Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs

• Assist with one-to-one interventions and small group sessions

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents

Who We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teachers (QTS) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

• SEN Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants

• Individuals with backgrounds in childcare, youth work, care, or mentoring

• Reliable, patient, and adaptable candidates passionate about education

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications or experience supporting children

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
