Tutor (Full Time or Part Time, temporary opportunities available)
Tameside
£30 per hour

About the Role
Deliver 1:1 tuition for students unable to attend mainstream education
Support pupils with a range of SEND needs
Deliver Maths and English sessions up to GCSE level
Sessions range from 1–5 hours per day, from 2 to 5 days per week
Flexible working across different settings, including students’ homes, libraries, or school sites
Long-term placements to provide consistency and structure for students
Work alongside social workers, SEN teams, and other professionals to support and feedback on student progress
Requirements
Teaching qualification (e.g QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent)
Experience working with SEND students
Confident delivering Maths and English
Strong relationship-building skills
Passion for supporting young people
