Teacher in Business (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a full‑time teaching colleague in Business to cover a maternity leave.

• Plan, deliver, and develop teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles.
• Take responsibility for quality of teaching and develop curriculum that meets learner needs.
• Assess learners’ progress in college or on work experience and devise assessment processes against personalised progress targets.

• Enthusiastic, resilient, and highly motivated.
• Literacy and numeracy to at least Level 2.
• Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent).
• Relevant degree or professional qualification at Level 4 or above.
• Level 4 teaching qualification (Certificate in Education/PGCE/Bachelor of Education) or required to achieve Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and a barred‑list check for regulated activity. The College will cover the costs of these checks.
