HLTA - Intervention & Classroom Support Specialist

Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning within a primary school setting.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering targeted intervention programmes while also providing classroom cover and supporting teachers across the school.

This position is ideal for a HLTA who enjoys helping pupils overcome learning barriers and supporting schools in raising attainment.

• Delivering intervention programmes across Reading, Writing, Maths, and Phonics
• Leading lessons during teacher release time and staff absence
• Supporting pupils through targeted small-group learning sessions
• Monitoring and recording pupil progress
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs where required
• Helping maintain high standards of teaching and learning

• Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience
• Has recent experience within a UK primary school
• Has strong curriculum knowledge across primary education
• Is confident leading whole-class learning independently
• Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Is passionate about improving pupil outcomes
