Using a variety of innovative teaching approaches and learning strategies, you will create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our students. You will play a key role in shaping and developing the curriculum, monitoring learner progress, and providing meaningful feedback and assessment to help learners succeed both in college and during work‑based learning opportunities. Working closely with colleagues and industry partners, you will support learners to achieve ambitious goals and develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed for future success.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver and develop teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles.
- Take responsibility for the quality of your teaching and related curriculum development that meets learner needs.
- Assess learner progress in college or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
- Relevant experience in the travel and tourism sector.
- Literacy and numeracy at least at Level
2. - Level3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent).
- Level4 teaching qualification (Certificate in Education, PGCE, Bachelor of Education) or required to achieve a Level5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within three years of appointment.
- Relevant assessment qualifications such as IQA, A1, V1 and evidence of current continuous professional development.
