Primary Supply Teacher - flexible daily & short-term work | September 2026
£130 - £180 per day depending on experience and responsibilities

We work with a wide range of welcoming primary schools across Tameside and are looking for reliable teachers available from September 2026. Whether you're available one day a week or full-time, we'll match you with roles that fit your preferences.

We work with a variety of primary schools across Tameside, including multi-academy trusts and long-standing partner schools.

- Value high-quality teaching and positive relationships
- Require reliable teachers to cover sickness, training, PPA and other short-term absences
- Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 using the school's planning where provided
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments
- Maintain positive behaviour and effective classroom management
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Complete marking and feedback where required
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools
- Confidence delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible, reliable and professional approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong understanding of safeguarding in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference checks in line with safer recruitment practices. This role involves safeguarding responsibilities, and the candidate must be committed to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
