In this role, the Secondary History Teacher will lead Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Humanities classes across the school in Ashton-under-Lyne

Daily Rate: £150 - £220

What you’ll do:

• Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 History lessons that promote critical thinking and debate.

• Assessing student essays and providing constructive feedback to close learning gaps.

• Maintaining classroom structure in alignment with local behaviour policies.

• Contributing to humanities enrichment activities and curriculum development in Ashton-under-Lyne

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) specializing in History or Humanities.

• Proven experience as a Secondary History Teacher in UK secondary schools.

• Deep subject knowledge spanning historical periods and GCSE requirements.

• A clear desire to secure a permanent contract in Ashton-under-Lyne

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
