Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Havering | ASAP Are you a confident graduate with aspirations to work as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant? If so, we are looking for Speech and Language Teaching Assistants, to support children with severe SEN and SEMH needs, who are often non-verbal and need help with communication. Salary £22,665 term-time only Local authority school with a brand-new SEN provision Gain experience in a school setting as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant! Work with children who are non-verbal and have difficulty with communication Work alongside qualified SEN professionals including SALT Therapists and Educational Psychologists Looking for a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant who Obtained a First-Class degree in Linguistics or Modern Languages from a Top 20 University Has previous experience and a passion for working with children Aims to become a Speech and Language Therapist Has excellent communication skills, patience and an understanding of language A fantastic opportunity for a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant looking for a role in education, gaining experience working in a school setting, learning the challenges and rewards of working with children with difficulties in learning and speech.
