This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate GCSE English Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Tameside
on a full-time, temporary cover starting September

You'll be teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (Years 7-11), delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire confidence and performance skills. The school has well-motivated students
, strong leadership support, and a clear commitment to professional development. English is valued within the curriculum, with opportunities to contribute to extracurricular activities.

You'll be joining a dedicated and collaborative department

To be considered for this Teacher of English
role, you must:

• Hold QTS or a PGCE (UK-recognised teaching qualification)
• Have recent experience teaching GCSE English (Years 10 and 11)
• ECTs considered
• Be available full-time
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be able to provide suitable references
