Eden Brown are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join the Apprenticeships Department at a college in Greater Manchester on a full-time, temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting learners and helping them achieve their educational and vocational goals.
The RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and apprentices to provide high-quality learning support. You will help learners access their programmes effectively, develop their confidence and independence, and overcome barriers to learning.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to apprentices.
- Supporting learners with their classroom and vocational learning activities.
- Encouraging learners to develop independence, confidence and study skills.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and other support professionals.
- Helping to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Monitoring learners progress and providing appropriate feedback.
- Supporting learners with additional needs and adapting support where required.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in providing learning or educational support.
- Patient, approachable and empathetic.
- Able to build positive relationships with young people and adults.
- Confident working collaboratively with teaching and support teams.
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Passionate about helping learners achieve their potential.
- Experience with in a further education, apprenticeships or vocational learning environment would be advantageous.
A DBS On the update service is also needed for this role.
