BIM Manager (Arch bias) / Manchester / £65k–£75k + Bens / Life Science Projects

We are working with an established consultancy delivering multidisciplinary design and engineering projects across the Life Sciences sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a BIM Manager with an architectural bias to take ownership of BIM and information management across the business.

This is a strategic yet hands-on role, giving you the opportunity to shape and mature BIM processes while working closely with design, engineering and project delivery teams.

The Role

As BIM Manager, you will take responsibility for the development, governance and practical application of BIM and information management across the organisation. You will build on existing foundations rather than starting from scratch, helping to improve consistency, efficiency and compliance across the project portfolio.

You will be responsible for:

* Owning and developing BIM and information management practices across the business.

* Ensuring consistent and proportionate application of BIM across projects and internal systems.

* Developing and maintaining BIM standards, processes and governance in line with ISO 19650 principles.

* Supporting the business as requirements within the ISO 19650 suite continue to evolve.

* Helping develop and deliver the organisation's future BIM and information management accreditation roadmap.

* Working closely with architectural, engineering and project teams to ensure BIM processes support practical project delivery.

* Providing guidance and support to project teams, helping to embed best practice across the business.

* Identifying opportunities to improve BIM workflows, systems and information management processes.

* Balancing governance and compliance with the practical requirements of live projects.

About You

We are looking for someone who combines strong BIM and information management knowledge with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.

You should have:

* At least 3 years' experience working within a multidisciplinary design practice.

* Strong knowledge of BIM and information management within the built environment.

* A good understanding of ISO 19650 principles and processes.

* Experience applying BIM and information management principles on live projects
