Finance Manager

We're looking for an experienced Finance & People Manager to join our growing business and take ownership of the finance function while supporting people, compliance and business operations.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll oversee the day-to-day finance operations, manage a small finance and administration team and provide support across HR, compliance and operational projects.

• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Manage invoicing, payroll, reconciliations and cash flow
• Oversee CIS administration and contractor payroll funding
• Liaise with external accountants, payroll providers and finance partners
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Lead and develop the finance and administration team
• Support onboarding, employee records and HR administration
• Assist with compliance, GDPR and operational governance
• Drive process improvements across the business
• Support business growth initiatives and charity events

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar
• Strong management accounts and financial reporting experience
• Payroll and invoicing experience
• Knowledge of cash flow management and financial controls
• Experience managing or supervising staff
• Excellent Excel and financial systems skills
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills
• AAT Level 4 or studying ACCA, ACA or CIMA
• Recruitment, construction or professional services experience
  
  Knowledge of CIS, contractor payroll or invoice finance
• HR or people management experience
