Job Title:
Logistics Coordinator

Location: Ashton

Contract: 4-month temporary assignment

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Ashton team on a temporary 4-month basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a busy and supportive environment where accuracy and high standards are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain material plans to support production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available when required.
  • Raise, track, and expedite purchase orders where necessary.
  • Identify potential material shortages and communicate risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm deliveries and resolve supply issues.
  • Update and maintain planning parameters and supplier information within SAP.
  • Support inventory management activities, including reducing excess and obsolete stock.
  • Work closely with Production Planning, Category Management , Warehouse, and Operations teams to support daily requirements.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance and escalated concerns where required.
  • Support new product introductions from a material planning perspective.
  • Ensure accurate processing and maintenance of planning-related master data.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliations, and material-related queries.
  • Follow company quality, safety, and compliance requirements at all times.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within the planning function.

About You:

  • Previous experience in material planning, supply planning, production planning, or inventory control.
  • Experience working within an ERP system, ideally SAP.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Competent in Excel and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
