Greenlands Meadow is a brand new Amica Care home, opening to residents soon. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team from the beginning and help create a welcoming, safe and supportive environment.
We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Officer to join our team for 37 hours per week.
Key responsibilities:- Maintain the home, grounds and equipment to a safe, high standard.
- Complete safety checks, inspections, servicing and repair works.
- Coordinate maintenance tasks and support the Maintenance Officer, contractors and colleagues.
- Communicate clearly with residents, colleagues and contractors on repairs and maintenance progress.
- Respond to out-of-hours emergency queries when required.
- Support stock condition inspections, improvement works and other business needs.
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience.
- Good knowledge of property maintenance, repairs, health and safety, COSHH and relevant legislation.
- Practical skills in areas such as painting, plumbing, basic electrical work and general repairs.
- Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- A self‑motivated team player with good interpersonal and computer skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours and supporting other sites when required.

- Full driving licence and access to a car desirable.
